Please be advised the following items are not allowed in the courthouse: knives, scissors, sharp objects, weapons of any kind, pepper spray and glass items, such as bottles, cups, etc.
Postponement requests: Postponement requests MUST be made FIVE (5) BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR to your date of service. NEW INFORMATION: Requests may now be made through the IVR phone system by dialing 530-225-5701. Follow the prompts for postponing your juror summons date. If you are unable or ineligible to postpone yourself through the automated phone system, you may contact us at 530-245-6789 and select option number 1 (one), then option number 1 (one) for Jury Service then option number 0 (zero). If no one is available to take your call at that time, you may leave a voice mail message and we will return your call within 72 hours. Please do not leave more than one voice mail message. You may also request a postponement via email, U.S. mail, and/or in person. Requests received on the day of service will be denied UNLESS accompanied with a legal doctors excuse. To request a postponement via email, please identify your email in the subject line with POSTPONEMENT REQUEST. Submit your email to: jury@shasta.courts.ca.gov

025-046Check this website again after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 for further reporting instructions. NOTE: THIS INFORMATION CHANGES DAILY. Your group number has been put on telephone standby as your trial is scheduled to begin later this week. Jurors may be placed on standby for up to five (5) court days for use in a trial courtroom. If jurors are not called to serve within that five (5) day period, they will be considered completed for service for a minimum of one (1) year.
047-073Your group number has been continued to a future date. You are NOT on telephone standby and have not yet completed your service. You will receive another summons. If you should need to make any corrections to your name and address, please email Jury Services or log on to the Jury Duty Portal.
ALLPLEASE BE SURE TO PARK IN THE "B" PARKING LOTS OR IN THE "PERMIT PARKING OK" PARKING LOTS AS SHOWN ON YOUR SUMMONS. PLEASE BRING YOUR POSTCARD SUMMONS WITH YOU TO THE JURY ASSEMBLY ROOM. Do NOT park in the metered parking or the signed parking with limited parking hours, unless you have a disability placard. JURY SERVICE DOES NOT OVERRIDE THE PARKING METERS.
ALL Please log on to the "Jury Duty Portal" using the web address for the court: www.shasta.courts.ca.gov/jury to complete your online profile including the section regarding reimbursement for mileage, the daily fee, your email address and phone number. PLEASE NOTE: You are unable to edit your date of birth. If you do not have computer access, you may complete the above process in the Jury Assembly Room.
