Postponement requests: Postponement requests MUST be made FIVE (5) BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR to your date of service. Requests may be made via email, phone, U.S. mail and/or in person. Requests received on the day of service will be denied UNLESS accompanied with a legal doctors excuse. To request a postponement via email, please identify your email in the subject line with POSTPONEMENT REQUEST. Submit your email to: jury@shasta.courts.ca.gov
PLEASE BE SURE TO PARK IN THE "B" PARKING LOTS OR IN THE "PERMIT PARKING OK" PARKING LOTS AS SHOWN ON YOUR SUMMONS. PLEASE BRING YOUR POSTCARD SUMMONS WITH YOU TO THE JURY ASSEMBLY ROOM. Do not park in the metered parking or the signed parking with limited parking hours. JURY SERVICE DOES NOT OVERRIDE THE PARKING METERS.
Please log on to the "Jury Duty Portal" using the courts web address: www.shasta.courts.ca.gov/jury to complete your online profile including the section regarding reimbursement for mileage, the daily fee, your email address and phone number. If you do not have computer access you may complete the above process in the Jury Assembly Room.
